Mold Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform tool room maintenance on injection molding molds: repair, modify, and service plastic injection molds and tooling components; disassembly/reassembly and preventative maintenance; operate tool room equipment (mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses); read basic mechanical drawings/blueprints; support mold changeovers and tooling preparation; participate in equipment installations and layout changes under supervision; ensure safety, quality, and compliance with procedures; work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams; maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; participate in 5S/Lean improvement efforts; starting hourly rate $24-$30 depending on knowledge/experience; standard shift 7:45 am - 4:00 pm, MON-FRI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
- Plastics manufacturing or tool room experience strongly preferred
- Technical skills: basic mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools, basic measuring/diagnostic instruments
- Familiarity with CMMS is a plus
