Job Summary
Develop a Troy-based Mohs surgery practice with academic affiliation and departmental collaboration, serving as the sole provider at a new outpatient facility opening in Spring 2027. Perform approximately 10–12 cases daily at full ramp-up, focusing primarily on Mohs surgery with a preference for 100% Mohs volume. Manage a referral base within Troy and the surrounding community, receiving roughly 60%–70% internal referrals alongside network and community sources. Work 8–9 half-day sessions weekly in a full-time role with community-based autonomy in a lower-complexity suburban setting. Maintain an academic appointment with the University of Michigan, accessing virtual consultation and pathology review, and participate in tumor boards and departmental conferences across the system.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Dermatology
- Hold an academic appointment with the University of Michigan
- Serve as the sole Mohs provider at the Troy location
- Work 8–9 half-day sessions per week in a full-time Troy-based role
- Perform approximately 10–12 cases per day at full ramp-up
- Receive approximately 60%–70% internal referrals plus network and community referrals
- Practice with community-based autonomy in a lower-complexity suburban setting
