Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and clean disinfecting areas daily. Escort patients, check vitals, interview for needs, and record medications and visit reasons. Assist with procedures like suture removal and wart excision. Package specimens, complete requisitions, submit results to labs, and track outcomes. Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures, provide preparation instructions, and relay results to patients. Pre-certify medications and referrals with insurance professionals. Manage drug inventory, check expiration dates, and order replenishments. Communicate with physicians, office managers, pharmacies, and hospitals regarding orders and reports. Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with the team.

- Minimum of one year of previous experience in dermatology medical office
- Experience utilizing Modernizing Medicine / EMA Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
