Job Summary
Assist in surgical procedures including Mohs surgery and excisions, while reviewing patient medical history and obtaining consents. Perform patient call backs, call in prescriptions, and assist with scheduling surgeries and administrative tasks. Screen patients and employees daily, check patients in and out, and ensure proper social distancing and PPE usage. Maintain patient medical records and sanitize areas as needed. This role requires a Certified Medical Assistant with surgical experience, CPR certification, and knowledge of vital signs in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment
- All applicants must have authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT PREFERRED
- Surgical or Mohs Experience PREFERRED
