Mohs Medical Assistant - Jacksonville, FL

Assist Mohs Surgeons and Dermatologists with surgical procedures, sterile setup, patient preparation, and post-operative wound care. Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and trays while maintaining inventory and coordinating supplies across Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, and St Augustine locations. Educate patients on care instructions, obtain medical history, and process specimens and medications as directed. Document clinical information in the EMR, manage prior authorizations, and ensure infection control and equipment maintenance. Travel with the assigned surgeon to designated clinic locations based on the surgical schedule. Maintain active participation in clinic workflow, support efficient patient flow, and adhere to all compliance standards including OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA.
