Job Summary
Mohs Medical Assistant needed for dermatology practice in Fort Collins/Loveland area. Responsibilities include assisting in Mohs surgery and surgical excisions, aiding physicians, maintaining patient records and histories, obtaining consents, calling in prescriptions, scheduling surgeries, and general administrative tasks; additional duties include screening patients and staff, patient check-in/out, rooming patients, enforcing social distancing, PPE usage, and sanitizing work areas. Required skills include CPR certification and knowledge of vital signs; preferred certifications and Mohs/dermatology experience. The role is in-person with hourly pay and opportunities for career advancement and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT PREFERRED
- Surgical or Mohs Experience PREFERRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
