Job Summary
Mohs Medical Assistant for a leading dermatology practice in Boca Raton and surrounding FL locations. Responsibilities include assisting in Mohs surgery and excisions, supporting physicians, maintaining patient records, reviewing medical histories, obtaining consents, calling in prescriptions, scheduling surgeries, and administrative duties. Will screen patients, manage patient check-in/out, ensure proper PPE, and maintain sterile technique. Requires Certified Medical Assistant (preferred), Mohs/surgical experience preferred, and current CPR certification. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a team player committed to excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications
- CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT PREFERRED
- Surgical or Mohs Experience PREFERRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment
