Job Summary
Process and embed tissue specimens using freezing techniques, perform routine and specialised staining procedures, and advise the team on test methodology and interpretation. Record all lab activities, procedures, and equipment maintenance while managing lab stock to ensure consumable availability. Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. This role requires tertiary qualifications in Laboratory Science or Applied Science, understanding of NSQHS standards, and knowledge of legislative reporting responsibilities. Pre-screening includes a criminal history check and immunisation aligned with state health standards. Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in a similar role
