Job Summary
Histotech position in a dermatology practice focusing on Mohs pathology workflows. Responsibilities include processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping of specimens, performing special stains, accessioning with other team members, and quality control. Must adhere to department protocols, be reliable with excellent attendance, and be a team player in a fast-paced clinical setting. In-office role with Jacksonville, FL location; compensation includes hourly pay with potential incentive opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Current ASCP certification (HT) or registry eligible
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year experience in embedding, cutting, staining, special stains, troubleshooting
