Job Summary
Mohs Histotechnologist needed to support diagnostic evaluation of skin tissue in MOHS laboratory. Responsibilities include histological duties per lab guidelines, a mix of high- and low-complexity testing, processing of tissue (receiving unfixed specimens, mapping, grossing, sectioning, ink application, relax cuts, scoring), embedding, cryotomy, staining, and coverslipping, and immunohistochemistry staining. Qualifications require prior histology experience in dermatology, with a BS preferred and certification as a Histotechnologist. Must have a valid driver's license. Employment contingent on successful pre-employment background checks. No phone calls or agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Histotechnologist
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- Dermatology histology experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience with histological procedures including embedding, cryotomy, staining, coverslipping, IHC
