Job Summary
Operate Mogul machine to deposit candy into starch trays and assist in Mogul setup (mold board, nozzle plate, piston bar) to ensure consistent product quality. Monitor board weight, inspect mold impressions for uniformity, and prevent starch buildup on the mold board. Respond quickly to minor malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance/mechanics; perform basic troubleshooting and carry out assigned duties to support the production schedule. Must be able to lift and move substantial weights and read/interpret safety and operating instructions; communicate effectively with team members and document routine reports. This is a 2nd shift, on-site role at the Greendale, IN facility focused on gummy confection manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ months of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization
