Job Summary
Module Process Engineer IV leads high-impact technical discussions with customers to define and implement continuous improvement projects in dielectric deposition (CVD/ALD), drives CSA renewal and upsell opportunities, and mentors junior engineers. The role requires deep dielectric deposition process knowledge, strong data analytics, capability to analyze BOM/EC/sensor data, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders. Travel up to ~50% domestically; on-site at Hillsboro, OR with a focus on integration, yield, manufacturability challenges, and adoption of new service technologies (FabVantage, JDPs). The position expects familiarity with Wafer Fab operations, multiple deposition technologies, and leadership of project teams to deliver measurable improvements to customer KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience in dielectric deposition process engineering
- Strong experience with DOE / statistical analysis (JMP, Python, Spotfire)
- Strong Wafer Fab and semiconductor equipment experience
- Proven technical expertise in dielectric deposition unit processes and Wafer Fab operations at a manufacturing site
- Ability to travel domestically as assigned <50% per month depending on customer project support
