Job Summary
Experienced CMP Process Engineer to join Applied Materials’ FabVantage Consulting team on 300mm semiconductor wafer processing in high-volume manufacturing. On-site at Leixlip, Ireland. Responsible for troubleshooting hardware and process issues using DoEs, FDC, Analytics; engage with customers to understand issues and service needs; collaborate with local service teams to meet performance indicators; develop and transfer service products including on-site optimization; requires engineering degree with 7-10 years in semiconductors, strong problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and up to 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable 7-10 years of experience in semiconductors
- In-depth knowledge of 300mm CMP process and tools
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Travel: up to 20%
