Job Summary
Owns critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes enabling rapid device miniaturization and mass production of ICs. Conducts tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity. Recommends and implements modifications to improve production efficiencies and techniques. Drives capacity growth, transfer of technology to global sites, maintenance/repair activities, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes to meet safety, quality, and cost goals. During ramp, ensures tool installation and qualification meet all criteria. Focuses on excursion prevention systems, detection of discrepant material, and coordination of installation/qualification across sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline with 4+ years experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 0 years
- Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, manufacturing process control, and process improvement
- Demonstrated technical expertise in equipment adjustment and monitoring
- Strong problem-solving skills in manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and global teams
