Job Summary
Plan assembly process flows to maximize manufacturing efficiency and define equipment specifications aligned with product requirements. Setup and release manufacturing cells on time, analyzing performance data to formulate technical reports and establish process specifications for line releases. Solve assembly problems using methodologies like 5 Why and 8D, developing troubleshooting guides while training technicians on technical know-how. Participate in system CIP initiatives to optimize Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery, driving continuous improvements in OEE, FPY, MTTR, and MTBF. Contribute to the Value Stream Organization culture under supervision of senior engineers, with a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields and two years of manufacturing experience required. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
- 2 years of working experience in manufacturing, assembly, or process engineering environment
- Basic knowledge of assembly processes, process planning, PFMEA, and Control Plan
- Understanding of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated, quality-conscious, result-oriented, and willing to learn
