Job Summary

Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future tech by leading design of sophisticated CMP processes, performing feasibility studies, and optimizing equipment for production efficiency. Execute pathfinding activities to support innovative device architectures, develop roadmaps for future technologies, and partner with vendors to implement cost-sensitive solutions. Perform material selection, parameter optimization, and equipment metrology to enable new product designs while staying updated on industry trends. Requires on-site presence in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) field of study
  • 5+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience (semiconductor processing and semiconductor fabrication)
  • Masters degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study
  • 4+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience (semiconductor processing and semiconductor fabrication)
  • PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study
  • at least 1+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience (semiconductor processing and semiconductor fabrication)
  • This role will require an on-site presence

Desired Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study
  • Direct experience in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) process development experience with hands-on process tuning and characterization
  • Experience with major CMP equipment platforms (AMAT, Ebara, etc.)
  • Experience with CMP consumables (e.g. slurries, pads, conditioning disks, filters, clean chemistries)
