Job Summary
Modern Apprentice role in Early Years at Toad Hall Nursery. You will train alongside experienced childcare professionals while working towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Responsibilities include supporting daily routines (meals, playtime, naps, personal care), following safeguarding procedures, helping with child development activities, and creating engaging, safe learning experiences. 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with 20% off-the-job learning; earn £16,765 per annum while gaining hands-on experience in a professional nursery setting. No previous childcare experience required; full training and support provided. Opportunities to progress internally to Nursery Nurse roles after qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Two satisfactory references
- An Enhanced DBS check
- Willingness to complete pre-employment checks
- Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Supportive, caring, reliable attitude
