Job Summary
Modern Apprentice in Early Years at Toad Hall Nursery. Train alongside experienced childcare professionals while working toward a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Responsibilities include supporting children with daily routines (meals, playtime, naps, personal care), following safeguarding and health & safety procedures, expressing an interest in child development, and contributing to a safe, engaging learning environment. 40 hours per week with 20% off-the-job learning; earn £16,765 per year and gain a nationally recognised qualification while working in a nursery setting. Pre-employment checks (two references and Enhanced DBS) required. Potential internal progression to Nursery Nurse roles upon qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to train for Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
- No previous childcare experience required (training provided)
- Willingness to undergo DBS check (Enhanced DBS)
