Job Summary
Modern Apprentice role at Toad Hall Nursery focused on training in Early Years. Responsibilities include supporting children with daily routines (meals, playtime, naps, personal care), following safeguarding policies and health & safety guidance, assisting with child development and learning, and contributing to a safe, engaging nursery environment. The program provides hands-on work 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday) with 20% off-the-job learning, and offers a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification while earning a wage (£16,765 per annum). Pre-employment checks include two references and an Enhanced DBS. No prior childcare experience required; full training and support provided.
