Job Summary
Senior Hardware/Baseband Engineer for Telematics NAD platforms, responsible for designing, validating, and integrating hardware and baseband solutions for next-generation Telematics Control Units (TCUs). Responsibilities include debugging high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB), system-level integration, thermal and power optimization, memory issue investigation (DDR, NAND, eMMC/UFS), EMC/EMI issue resolution, hardware bring-up with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network/power analyzers), and cross-functional collaboration across RF, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams. Contributes to design verification, failure analysis, and field issue investigations, while advancing hardware design methodologies and validation processes. Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in hardware development and baseband system integration for wireless or automotive products
- Hands-on experience analyzing and debugging high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and USB
- Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed digital design principles
- Experience optimizing thermal performance and power consumption in embedded or automotive systems
- Proven experience analyzing and resolving memory-related issues involving DDR, NAND, eMMC/UFS, or similar memory subsystems
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving EMC/EMI issues in compliance with automotive standards
- Proficiency in using measurement and debugging equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and related tools
- Familiarity with automotive communication and connectivity technologies such as LTE/5G, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, CAN, or related interfaces
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis in complex system environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional global development environment
- Experience with automotive development processes and standards is a plus
