Job Summary
Modeling & Simulations Associate Director responsible for developing and executing M&S strategies and activities in cross-functional drug development project teams. Lead the development and execution of Modeling & Simulation plans and analyses integrated with overall development plans; perform mechanism-based PKPD and population PK/PKPD analyses, and clinical trial simulations to inform study design, dose selection, and probability of success. Contribute to continuous improvement of M&S capabilities through training and evaluation of new M&S tools. Requires strong PKPD expertise, leadership, and effective communication within clinical development teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutical sciences, Pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative discipline with emphasis on Pharmacometrics and PKPD modeling
- PhD with 6 years experience or Master's with 10 years experience in pharmacometric modeling and related analyses in drug R&D
- Strong hands-on skills in population PK and PKPD modeling, mechanistic PKPD modeling, Clinical trial simulations, disease progression modeling, and related analyses
- Proficiency with NonMem, PsN, R, Phoenix, and similar tools
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience working in clinical development teams and integrating PK/PD modeling in drug development
- Ability to contribute to training and evaluate/incorporate new M&S tools
- Experience in cross-functional drug development teams and decision-making support
