Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software to support mission analysis, scenario development, and system performance assessments for Army Aviation programs. Implement integration solutions connecting simulation tools with system interfaces, while creating and customizing models for sensors, aircraft, and communication systems. Coordinate software interfaces and align development efforts with systems engineering requirements within an Agile and Scrum framework. Work with a core team of engineers to deliver high-fidelity, real-time simulation capabilities for government customers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, C++ or Python programming skills, and US citizenship with a Secret security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (engineering, science, computer science/engineering)
- Experience implementing algorithms for system behavior modeling, mission logic, or sensor and avionics representation within simulation software
- Knowledge of real-time simulation frameworks, military simulation systems, and modeling methodologies
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with software development environments utilizing Agile methodologies
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance is preferred
- Experience working with established modeling and simulation tools such as CDS3, AFSIM, OneSAF, or similar systems
- Experience with distributed simulation protocols including DIS, TENA, and HLA
- Experience in LVC (Live, Virtual, and Constructive) test and/or training environments
- Experience with US Army Aviation system modeling and simulation tools
