Job Summary
Modeling Analytics Associate for Risk Forecasting responsible for executing credit loss forecasting models to project losses and allowances across the product portfolio for regulatory exercises (CCAR, CECL, Risk Appetite) and annual budgeting; diagnosing model parameters and proposing adjustments with the modelling team; communicating results to senior management; participating in cross-functional forecasting discussions with Risk Management, Finance, Marketing, and Collections; conducting macro sensitivity analyses, loss attribution, and storyboarding; leading advanced analyses to identify relationships driving loss performance; driving efficiency through automation of forecasting processes; collaborating with technology teams to integrate tools and methods to improve forecasting accuracy and operational effectiveness; monitoring MEV trends (levels, seasonality, structural breaks, data drift) and presenting MEV-driven impacts on forecasts to stakeholders; requires quantitative degree, 3+ years in credit risk or analytics, and proficiency in Python/SQL/SAS/Tableau/Alteryx/Cloud; knowledge of IFRS9/CECL/CCAR and experience with US consumer credit portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance/Stats/Econ/Math/Engineering or equivalent work/training
- Minimum 3 years of Credit Risk Management, productRevenue analytics, and/or consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of Python/SQL/SAS/Tableau/Alteryx/Cloud
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel, VBA, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret large data sets
- Well-organized and structured with strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of regulatory modeling (IFRS9/CECL/CCAR)
- Credit risk experience in one or more US consumer credit portfolios (e.g., Mortgage, Credit Card, Automotive, etc.)
