Job Summary
Prepare accurate dental models and related components used in the fabrication of crowns, bridges, dentures, orthodontic appliances, and other dental restorations. Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of cases while maintaining infection control and laboratory procedures. Pour dental impressions, trim and prepare models, mount on articulators, prepare models for dental departments, repair damaged models, label and track cases, assist with digital model scanning and 3D printed model handling, maintain equipment, follow infection control and safety procedures, support production deadlines and assist other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and laboratory procedures.
- Experience working with dental stone, plaster, articulators, and hand tools.
- Ability to read prescriptions and work orders accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
