Job Summary
MBSE Engineer role focused on developing and validating system models using MATLAB/Simulink; perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing; integrate models into design and development workflows; document modeling processes and simulation results; contribute to automation of verification and validation (V&V) processes; participate in external funding opportunities and research initiatives; onsite at Pitstone, UK with cross-functional collaboration to optimize complex systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Science)
- Experience with model-based design tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
- Familiarity with control systems, embedded systems, and simulation environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Modelica, or SysML
- Experience with C/C++ code generation from models
- Exposure to aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation domains
- Certification in INCOSE, DFSS, or related systems engineering standards
