Job Summary
Develop system requirements, perform requirements management and verification, and conduct compliance assessments for major design reviews using model-based systems engineering. Manage the systems engineering process by identifying program requirements, tracking performance metrics, and performing system integration and validation with tools like Cameo, Rhapsody, and IBM Rational DOORS. Execute technical planning and verification while applying agile development fundamentals to accelerate technology timelines for weapon systems and advanced machine learning projects. Requires Top Secret clearance, 5-10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AFSIM and simulation model integration. Located in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a Qualified Engineering field such as Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in Cameo/MagicDraw, or Rhapsody
- Proficient in IBM Rational DOORS
- AFSIM experience
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher
- Must be a US citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in a Qualified Engineering field such as Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in C++, Python, MATLAB, UML, SysML, DoDAF modeling
- Experience with military simulations
- Hypersonic weapons or hypersonic technology development
- Experience with simulation model integration
- 5-10 years of experience performing model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
