Job Summary
Develop and manage MBSE products and initiatives that support modeling NAVAIR logistic data and systems as they mature a digital twin of naval aviation. Architecture Analysis - Analyze and decompose the current Teamcenter PLM architecture to map components and integration points. Data Modeling - Document and diagram existing data elements; map current data structures to the new NPLM target model. DoDAF Artifact Creation - Develop and maintain DIV-1 and DIV-2 for existing and new data models. ETL & Integration Modeling - Design ETL models, including 4GD transformations; author and maintain ICDs. Technical Documentation - Draft and finalize comprehensive SDD for the architecture transition. Deprecation Analysis - Identify components and legacy structures eligible for retirement. Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility. Maintain system model in Cameo MBSE tool. Participate in design working group and technical interchange meetings. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience with systems engineering and MBSE
- Proficiency with MBSE tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
- Experience creating DoDAF/UAF artifacts and data views (DIV-1, DIV-2)
- Proven ability to generate data models and complex system architecture diagrams
- Experience with data mapping, ETL processes, and interface control management
- Excellent technical writing skills and ability to draft System Design Documentation (SDD)
- BS degree in Engineering, Math or related technical field
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with Teamcenter or PLM systems is preferred
