Job Summary
Model-Based Systems Engineer sought to develop MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo, derive system requirements, and support DoD programs across lifecycle in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include modeling system behavior and architecture content (bdd/ibd, act/stm), using JAMA for requirements management, preparing artifacts for design reviews, and interfacing with program management and design engineers. Preferred candidates have leadership experience, DoD process knowledge, and certifications (OCSMP, SEP) with a strong emphasis on MBSE in defense systems and the ability to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with 4+ years of experience or an MS with 2+ years
- Experience using MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler and/or other MBSE modeling tools
- Experience in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems
- Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience communicating within a team environment
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
- Possess a secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.
