Job Summary
As a Mod Center Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain a state-of-the-art Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Machining Center designed for electrical panel enclosures and subpanels. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and drawings, programming machines utilizing CAD software, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring the quality of finished products. You will be expected to handle materials, perform test runs, and troubleshoot any issues during the machining process. The role requires physical capability to lift heavy items and work efficiently in a team environment. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Military equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in CNC Machining preferred
- Intermediate math skills
- Good spatial reasoning
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of standard and metric measuring systems
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD Software
