Job Summary
Coordinate daily unit-specific patient mobilization activities under the on-site supervision of a delegating nurse or therapist. Perform designated routine patient mobilization tasks, document all activities in the EMR, and complete other duties as assigned. This position does not interpret referrals, perform evaluations, initiate treatment programs, or discuss medical diagnoses with patients. The hourly PRN rate is $20.00.
Required Qualifications
- Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); or National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
- Successful completion of an SMH approved program
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
