Job Summary
Mobility Technician at MobilityWorks performing diagnostics, testing, and repair on automotive systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex maintenance issues, conducting vehicle inspections, performing road tests, installing and connecting electrical wiring systems, installing electrical panels and components per engineering specs, interpreting schematics, assessing vehicle damage, providing repair recommendations and parts lists, estimating repair times, and executing under-car and under-hood preventive maintenance while collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- General experience in automotive maintenance
- Familiarity with brake and steering systems
- Strong background in electrical and/or automotive wiring
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting and repair
- Exceptional mechanical problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
