Mobility Technician | Per Diem | Day

Mobility Technician position (Per Diem, Day) supporting rehabilitation services: assist in mobilization and personal care of patients, prepare equipment for mobilization/treatment, and perform clerical tasks within the clinical care department. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, demonstrating safe ambulation and positioning techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort, managing mobility equipment (beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, oxygen, IV poles/pumps), observing precautions, coordinating with nurses/therapy staff, documenting interventions in the EMR, and completing unit duties and department requirements. Requires a High School diploma/GED and AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Able to lift and assist with patient care, work collaboratively with nursing and therapy staff, and maintain effective communication, time management, and adaptability throughout the shift.
