Job Summary
Per Diem Mobility Technician assists with mobilization and personal care of patients in inpatient rehab, prepares treatment equipment, assists with transfers and ambulation, assembles supplies, sets up and adjusts equipment, and supports treatment delivery under the direction of inpatient Clinical Nurse Managers. Responsibilities include positioning patients for treatment, assisting during and after therapy, toileting and personal care, ensuring mobility equipment readiness, transporting patients, maintaining mobility supply levels, and participating in ongoing quality programs. Must obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire and maintain CPR. Education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a medical setting and strong communication skills are preferred.
