Job Summary

Mobility Technician is a key nursing team member supporting patient mobility, transporting patients to therapies, and assisting with various unit responsibilities alongside RNs, PCTs/CNAs, and therapy teams in a rehabilitation-focused hospital setting. This role provides exposure to multiple healthcare opportunities with direct patient contact on a 36-hour/week, evening schedule. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification preferred. The position is on-site in Wallingford, CT, within a CARF-accredited specialty unit focusing on traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and related care.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR certification preferred prior to hire
  • WORK SCHEDULE: 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday 3:00pm-10:00pm
