Mobility Technician (1.0 FTE Day)

Job Summary
Provide mobility opportunities for medical surgical patients, including bed mobility, transfers, and ambulation using the move protocol. Take and record vital signs, communicate results to nursing staff, and educate patients on fall prevention and positioning. Assist with facility access using wheelchairs, elevators, and walkers. Develop as a peer leader by mentoring floor staff on environmental setup and body mechanics. Complete work to meet productivity standards while maintaining patient satisfaction and functional outcomes. This role is 1.0 FTE day shift with up to 20% travel required. Basic Life Support certification is required; a high school diploma is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) American Heart Association
- Must be able to travel up to 20%
