Job Summary
Greet guests in parking lots and garages while educating customers on Metropolis parking technology and assisting with enrollment. Patrol assigned areas to identify vehicles without proper payment or authorization, issue violations in accordance with company policies, and document them using mobile devices with photo evidence. Maintain lot and garage cleanliness by sweeping floors, collecting trash, and emptying receptacles, while also identifying and reporting debris, spills, or maintenance hazards. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks including cleaning, washing, oil changes, and minor upkeep. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, observing all safety protocols at all times. This role offers strong growth potential for high-performing team members within our expanding technology platform.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to six consecutive hours)
- Ability to visually inspect vehicles and physically access all areas of garages and lots
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Prior parking industry experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to go above and beyond
- Comfortable using mobile devices and technology (iPad, iPhone, Android devices)
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English with customers and team members
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
