Job Summary
Mobility Equipment Technician at Rehab Medical responsible for professional delivery, setup, basic adjustments, service, and education on mobility equipment in patients' homes and care settings. Works with patients, therapists, and ATPs to ensure equipment is functioning safely and customized to patient needs; participates in the ATP Career Path with opportunities for advancement and certification. Duties include equipment delivery, service, repair, documentation and billing understanding, vehicle management, and collaboration with office/warehouse teams while maintaining a high standard of customer service and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering consumer or medical equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with patients while maintaining professionalism, respect and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
