Job Summary
Provide rapid response screening, assessment, and counseling intervention services to youth and families experiencing urgent psychological or emotional crises in a community-based setting. Conduct risk assessments, consult supervisors to determine care levels, and administer solution-focused, trauma-informed interventions to maintain safety and address problem-solving conflicts. Deliver short-term therapeutic crisis intervention for up to 30 days while maintaining complete, accurate documentation from intake through discharge. Participate in Clinician On-Call rotation, including after-hours telehealth coverage from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. two to three days per month. Travel to client locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in a Human Services field
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Travel to locations where the client resides or is located
- Weekday and weekend availability needed
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited school in a Human Services field
- Education/Training in suicide risk prevention and intervention
