Job Summary
Join our long-term care team as a Wound Care RN responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatment plans for residents. The role includes providing comprehensive wound assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, performing treatments and dressing changes, documenting accurately in the EMR, leading wound rounds, and educating nursing staff on protocols. Candidates should have a current RN license in Ohio and at least 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience
- Long-term care experience strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Wound care certification (WCC, WOCN, CWCA, etc.) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment
- Critical thinking skills
- Time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with EMR systems and regulatory documentation requirements
