Job Summary
In-home associate veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets in Charlotte. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling strong family-patient interactions. Emphasis on practicing medicine with purpose within Lap of Love’s mobile/hospice model, with onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support. Must have a DVM/VMD/BVMS, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be available for some weekends; role involves home visits and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date
