Job Summary
Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families as a Mobile Veterinarian. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, allowing practice with purpose in a personal, balanced life. Practice medicine independently with mentorship and support from Lap of Love’s onboarding, leadership, and 24/7/365 Support Center. Must be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) with a valid U.S. driver’s license and be available to work some weekends; ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Proven compassionate client communication and a desire to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care in patients’ homes. Beneficial qualifications include participation in comprehensive onboarding and ongoing mentorship, and commitment to a culture of kindness within a veterinary hospice context.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Availability to work some weekends
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
