Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian (Mobile Veterinarian) needed in the West Chicago, IL area to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with ~3–4 appointments daily, opportunities to practice independently within Lap of Love’s supportive culture, onboarding and mentorship, and a path that emphasizes professional fulfillment and personal balance. Full-time schedules provide listed compensation ranges ($107,500 for 4 days; $130,000 for 5 days; 3-day full-time and part-time prorated). Must hold a DVM/VMD and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine. The role is mobile and in-home, serving West Chicago and surrounding areas. Experience and passion for compassionate end-of-life care for pets and families are valued, with ongoing mentorship and a dedicated support network.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in good standing (Illinois)
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
