Job Summary
In-Home Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients’ homes in West Chicago, IL and surrounding areas (and implied service in Mesa, AZ). Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, emphasis on work-life balance, meaningful patient-family interactions, comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7 support. Opportunity to practice veterinary medicine with purpose and independence within a supportive network of 400+ veterinarians and practice managers. Key responsibilities include in-home veterinary care, compassionate family communication, and delivering high-quality hospice services while maintaining professional fulfillment and personal well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed DVM in good standing
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in home settings
- Open to flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules
