Job Summary
Provide in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care to companion animals in Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding communities within a mobile practice. Practice medicine with purpose while maintaining work-life balance, including independent work with mentoring support, flexible 2–5 day-per-week scheduling, and approximately 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Join a veterinarian-owned team focused on compassionate, client-centered care, ongoing onboarding, mentorship, and a supportive practice management structure. Requirements include Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent and licensure to practice veterinary medicine; ability to deliver high-quality, empathetic care in-home and to families during emotionally meaningful moments. Opportunities include full-time-equivalent pathways (4-day and 5-day schedules) with prorated options for 3-day and part-time structures in the market.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing
- Experience/comfort with in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care preferred
