Job Summary
Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to all safe work practices and policies. Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company-owned fleet vehicles as directed. Conduct thorough inspections to identify unsatisfactory conditions, worn parts, and diagnostic test results. Travel to various branch locations to perform repairs and submit associated paperwork for tracking. Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status and provide your own basic tools. Complete all duties as assigned by management while working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment
- 1+ years DOT inspection experience
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire

- Ability to determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections, scheduled PM's and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts & replacement as needed
