Mobile Vehicle Mechanic

Job Summary
Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to safe work practices and mandatory PPE requirements during all tasks. Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs on company fleet equipment, identifying unsatisfactory conditions and worn parts. Travel to branch locations up to 70% of the time to complete repairs and submit tracking paperwork for PM schedules. Maintain active driver status for mobile vehicle types and provide own basic tools. Conduct diagnostic tests and determine vehicle conditions as needed. Requires valid driver's license, DOT inspection experience, and willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment
- 1+ years DOT inspection experience
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
