Job Summary
Conduct thorough vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory, verifying VINs, mileage, and options while documenting exterior, interior, and mechanical components against Manheim inspection standards. Safely locate, start, move, and return vehicles on dealer lots, identifying damage or inoperable features. Build trust with dealers through consistent quality and professionalism, educating clients on marketplace value and leveraging insights to maximize inspection volume and territory productivity. Prepare daily activity reports using Salesforce.com and collaborate with Wholesale Specialists to support client success. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy while adapting to daily appointment changes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
- Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- Previous vehicle inspection experience required
- Strong automotive knowledge (body and mechanical) required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical)
- 0–1 years of automotive‐related experience preferred
- 1–2 years of automotive‐related experience preferred
- 2–3 years of automotive‐related experience strongly preferred
- 1 year of service with Manheim Inspections recommended
- Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED
- 5 years' experience in a related field
- 7 years' experience in related field
