Job Summary
Mobile Trailer Technician (Licensed) travels to customer sites to perform preventive and scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on a wide range of trailers and equipment, including Dry Vans, Reefers, Heaters, Flat Beds, and Chassis. Responsibilities include inspecting trailers, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues with appropriate tools, repairing or replacing damaged parts (electrical systems, tires, brakes, lights, couplers, axles), performing welding/fabrication/bodywork as needed, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate service records of parts used and labor hours.
Required Qualifications
- 310J/310T Technician Certification
- Proven experience as a Trailer Service Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of trailer systems (electrical, suspension, braking, and structural components)
- Ability to safely lift up to 85 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License may be required for travel to customer sites
