Job Summary
The Mobile Trailer Technician will perform repairs and maintenance on trailer chassis, bodies, and accessories at customer locations and trailer yards. Responsibilities include inspections, welding, and diagnosis of electrical systems across various brands and components. Candidates should have welding certification, experience in trailer repair, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years’ experience in trailer repair
- Certified aluminum and steel welding; both MIG and TIG welding
- Valid driver’s license and must be insurable
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or technical school (certificate or diploma)
- Trailer/Reefer Manufacturer Certification
- Tanker Inspector Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
