Job Summary
The Mobile Trailer Technician performs general to moderate repairs on trailer chassis, bodies, and accessories, primarily at customer locations. This role requires experience in chassis lube, DOT inspections, and electrical systems diagnostics, along with certifications in welding.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years’ experience in trailer repair
- Certified aluminum and steel welding; both MIG and TIG welding
- Valid driver’s license and must be insurable
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or technical school (certificate or diploma)
- Trailer/Reefer Manufacturer Certification
- Tanker Inspector Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
